A picture a day... blah, blah, blah!!

I challanged my friend to a picture/post every day for a week, remember? Well, she didn't make it past Monday again and here it is just Wednesday and even I'm sick of seeing pictures of the kids!! :o I decided, since there is literally NOTHING going on here, that I would post pics of Lilah's room for Kayla to see.

..and for daily McGwire, Lilah pics......

I don't think that I'm gonna post anymore this week. I'll give you a chance to miss us for a while!!

P.s. Now that I see pictures of Lilah's room on here, it doesn't do it justice. In fact, it looks a little tacky. Don't get me wrong...it's no masterpiece but it really is cuter in real life. Really. No really, I promise!

So far away...

Tim has been gone since early Sunday AM and we are pretty lonely here without him. Hurry home Daddy!!

I told the kids to smile pretty for you Tim... and they did. :)

A face only a mother could love?

I challanged my friend Jill to post a picture a day for a week. That was last week. I never posted anything and she didn't make it past Monday. We're both losers! Anywho, I had Tim take a couple of pics after church and this is what we got. Check out Lilah's face. She's got a bad case of "the crazy eye's". And I don't know what McGwire's got a case of.
By the way, Jill...YOU'RE ON!!!!

Here's a better picture, but not too much better. She looks like Tim's coming at her with a butcher knife.

Wayne Gretzky is a pantywaist!

Yeah, I'm talking smack since McGwire is about to start playing hockey. WATCH OUT NHL HERE HE COMES!!!! Actually, he is going to play street hockey, so Tim bought skates and equipment today to start teaching him how to skate. I hope he ends up liking it 'cause he is super excited about it...him and Tim!! He wants to be a goalie. We want him to be a goalie too 'cause it costs a little less since they are in dire need of goalies!!! :)

Here's a picture of McGwire's first fall!!!

Here's a video of the future best hockey player ever on his first day of learning to skate. Keep this video as it will bring in lots of money for you in about 15 years or so. Trust me...we'll be selling our copy for sure!! haha

Here's the big bad hockey player with his favorite stuffed animal. He got a webkins for his birthday from one of his friends (much to his father's dismay). He named him Bama for his favorite college football team. Oh the irony!! :>

I was throwing in a pic of Tim and Lilah, but you can't really see them and since I can't figure out how to delete a picture from the post, you'll just have to imagine what they look like close up!

Boy, that 5 months blew by fast!

Our little girl turned 5 months old Thursday. I can see that her little life is gonna pass before our eyes in a flash. It makes me sad already. She's such a happy little girl. I've been blessed to have her sleep through the night since she was about 6 weeks old. She's fussy just before naptime and when I'm working (when she's with daddy) :) but other than that she doesn't really cry too much. Here's her latest picture:

Nice puke stains on her shirt, huh?

You say it's your birthday? Well it's McGwires birthday too, yeah!

Can you believe our little man is 9 years old now?? CRAZY! He wasn't supposed to have a party but was going to just invite 3 friends over to eat cake and ice cream and to play "rockband" . Somehow a party broke out. Also, I've come to realize that even though you tell people not to bring a gift, they do anyway. So McG was loving life!!!! When I realized that a few more kids were coming over and the "non party" was going to be at noon, I decided I'd have to feed the little creatures so Tim went and bought pizza for them to eat. I don't even want to know how much we ended up spending this year. A friend of mine gave her son the choice of a party or $50 (she made the $50 sound really good...which it is really good for an 8 year old) and he chose the money. We will be offering the cash next year, I promise!

Here's the gang! McGwire had a good time, really. He was really neat to watch when he opened his gifts, too. He acted very excited about every gift and thanked every child.

Blowing out the candles!

more random shots of fun...

And here's the birthday boy's little sister:

Freaky Friday

It's not really a freaky Friday but I couldn't think of a clever title off the top of my head.

Here's some shots of our little girl. I tried to feed her solids again today and she did pretty good but I decided we need to wait a little while before we make this permanent. The experts are now recommending waiting til babies are 6 months to start solids so I have at least another month to wait. We'll see what she thinks about that, though. At her dr's appointment Monday, she weighed 19.6#. BIG MAMA!!!!!

She's still such a very good baby.

On to McGwire..... His b'day is tomorrow and so we semi pre celebrated tonight. We went to the Japanese restaurant and that was fun (and delish) and then came home and let him open up his "big"gift. He was loving "Guitar Hero" so much that we decided to get him "Rock Band". He had already kinda figured it out because I was an idiot and let him see the wrapped package. I didn't realize he had his Dad's psychic gift of guessing presents. On the way home (we met Tim at the restaurant so we were in separate cars) McG asked me to tell him what was in the package and he promised to act surprised when he opened it. NICE TRY, BUDDY!!! Here's a video of his idea of "acting surprised";

By the way, we finally got McGwire's hair cut today. Here's a better picture of the finished product.

It is nearly 1 am and I am just now finishing this post because we just finished playing "Rockband". It is WAAAAY fun but at the end we were all getting so tired that we wanted to kill each other. Now I know why bands break-up, especially when you throw in drugs, alcohol and groupies (of which we have none)!!!

I'll post more pics tomorrow during his little party.
