Sunday Pictures

As you can tell by this picture, Lilah was VERY SICK yesterday with diarrhea and was not able to attend church. Tim ever so kindly volunteered to stay home with her since he was sick to his stomach as well.

Lilah was so upset when we went to leave. She ran in my room and grabbed her dress and started crying. She's soooo religious!

Here's a few more pictures that Tim took of the kids yesterday afternoon. McGwire was STILL out playing hockey but Tim talked him into pushing Lilah on the toboggan for a little while. She had a blast and McG was such a good sport!

They cancelled school for this?!?!?!

Tim and McGwire fearlessly plowed their way through the storm of the century last night to watch the Thrashers play. Luckily, they made it there and back in one piece.

I have to admit...it makes for a beautiful picture!

McG was lucky enough to have a whimpy school board who closed down the schools for 1/8" of snow!!! He was up bright and early ready to play! I snapped a couple of pictures of snow without footprints before he went outside.

Lilah is not so sure about this white stuff.

Apparently there was a cat in the yard at some point this AM.

I was getting dressed and about to start breakfast when I suddenly realized that Lilah was nowhere in sight. I panicked a little and then figured out that she must be outside with McG.

I was right.

Poor thing was in her pajamas, clinging on for dear life to her blankie!

He was out playing hockey for about 2 hours straight refusing to come in and warm up. He was having a blast all by himself!

I finally got McGwire to come in about an hour ago. I had drawn him a really warm bath so he could just step out of his wet, icy clothes and get right into a warm cozy bath. His skin was all red and blotchy from the cold.

Snow Storm of 2010

It started snowing this afternoon~ very lightly~ so I wanted to take a few pictures since Mac was so excited. Our pool has been iced over for a week or so and Mac has been cutting chunks of it out and having a ball throwing ice all over the deck!

He wanted to show how thick it is.

There is a small sheet of snow on the ground right now (about 9pm) but I would be surprised if we get any more than that. PoorMcG is gonna be soooo disappointed that he has to go to school tomorrow!

Our family theme this year is:

"Starting again in 2010".

So far, we are failing miserably.

We are a full week in and we haven't "started" anything again yet!!

We were supposed to have a family meeting this week to discuss everything but no meeting in sight yet! haha I have to work this weekend and we have had a very busy week with no end in sight but hopefully we can get it together real soon!!

Here's a picture of Lilah wearing her hat during lunch. Brannon always wears hats in the house and I found Lilah wearing hers the other days as well. It was the first picture I took in 2010.

One thing that I want to "start again" is being better at blogging. We'll see how well I do at that this year.

Santa, Baby..."

Here are a few pics from Lilah's terrifying trip to see Santa. I know it's past Christmas but I wanted to post them anyway. I was waiting for Tim to scan up the actual Santa picture but that does not look like it's happening anytime soon.

"Let's see. I want a dolly and some new pacifiers and some pretty markers so I can draw on the walls and hardwood floors."
