I totally forgot to mention that McGwire made the honor roll again last quarter. His report card was all A's except for 2 B's. We were invited for an award ceremony for 5th graders next week so I'll have to remember to take lots of pictures. He said only 3 other kids in his class got invited. We are so lucky that he hasn't had to struggle in school. Unfortunately, I believe there will be lots of struggling next year when we home school. Heaven help us!!!
His sister, on the other hand, may have to ride the short bus to school. We go tomorrow to have her evaluated to start speech therapy in the school system next year. I was all for it initiall,y but then found out that it's just once a week for 30 mins. What the....?? I don't know why I thought she'd be going 6 hours a day, 5 days a week but I totally SWEAR that I thought she would be!!! Imagine my shock and horror when I found out the ugly truth!!! In fact, all of a sudden, I don't care how bad her speech is, it's certainly not bad enough for me to have to cart her to school once a week!! haha

CONGRATULATIONS MCGWIRE. THERE IS SOMETHING IN THE MAIL FOR YOU TOO.
Girl, you are too funny. I am so very proud of McGwire. I think ya'll should quit restricting him as he's a genius. He can't help what he does. If our boys had made those good grades they could've gotten away with a lot of things. You did. Oops, you didn't really do anything but you got to stay home from school when you wanted. Short bus? How appropriate with that picture. hahaha
Kelly, you crack me up! Good job McG...and Lilah, well...Jade didn't talk until she was three and she was Validictorian..so, tell everyone to stop worrying about you! I'm sure you are a quiet genius!
