Day two...pool time

We got up early on day two to go to the beach again, but unfortunately after we made a shopping detour, it started raining so we went back to the hotel to swim instead.

Me and Brannon decided not to swim but to take pictures of all of the fun!!!

Day One: TRAVEL TIME

Tim gave us a target departure time of 0400 but we didn't quite make it. Actually, we didn't do too badly...we were out by 0420. I think that was pretty darned good! Once the sun came out and the kids were awake enough...that's when the fun began!!

Tim drove the entire time. He's a good man.

Mac had his own spot in the back of the car along with all of the luggage!!!


Lilah did a lot of video watching!!

Brannon was way excited about finding a place that sold Slushpuppies!!


McGwire was excited too!!!

We made a slight detour to Savannah just to say we went. While driving around we got really hungry and decided we needed some breakfast.

There was nowhere to stop that looked safe enough to eat at so we went on to Tybee Island.

Once on Tybee we stumbled on the only place we found open for breakfast.

If you ever find yourself on Tybee Island...steer clear of this little gem.

Seriously!!!

Just a short ride later, we finally made it to Jekyll Island.

Side note: It's times like this that I wish I had a decent camera and some photography skills!!!
