And now, ladies and gentleman, it's time once again for...

SAME POSE, DIFFERENT CLOTHES.

Starring Lilah Bird as:

The baby hugging an octopus,

The little self feeder,

The baby needing help feeding,

You may also recognize her as the baby sitting in the bumbo seat smiling.

Or the baby sitting in the bumbo seat chewing her finger.

But she also stays true to her character as the baby stunned by a camera flash as seen here.

and here.

Also Starring McGwire Bird as the big brother who has decided he does not want to play along with regular photo op's anymore

He's a great entertainer~

A great babysitter~

A great jokester and story teller~

A great uncle~

And a great brother and son!

Sunday round-up!

Here's the week in pictures.

It all started out with McGwire heading out the door for his CRCT tests at school. If he doesn't pass the tests, he won't pass the 3rd grade. No pressure there!!

It has been really pretty here and so we decided to take a few pictures outside with our pretty purple flowers in the background. I tried putting Lilah down on the grass closer to the flowerbed but she SCREAMED!!! Apparently she did not like the way the grass felt on her legs.

Here's a happy baby sometime in the middle of the week. She has been kinda fussy for a few days. 'Not sure why.

Here is the beautiful dress that Grandma sent to Lilah. She wore it to church today and looked like a little princess. She was sooooo wiggley at church today, like REALLY wiggley but was acting fine otherwise. She wasn't a bit fussy or disruptive, thank goodness!

And that's the end!! Have a great week!

Special Delivery from Germany

Look what the cat dragged in!!!! Uncle JoJo came to visit from overseas. We are so excited to see him but I know his family misses him. He and dad are going to Texas to see his boys and will be back in a week or so. McG absolutely ADORES Uncle JoJo and Lilah seems to not be disgusted much by him...yet!

Here's Uncle Joel eating pizza at 11 o'clock at night.

Here's McGwire eating pizza (well, actually breadsticks) at 11 0'clock at night.

Here's Timmy eating pizza at 11 0'clock at night! (He'll kill me for this picture, but he should have smiled nicely, right?)Me, mom and dad were eating pizza at 11 0'clock at night as well, but we don't have it documented on film. I didn't even attempt to take pictures of us eating cake and ice cream at 11:30 that same night!!! We have some dignity!!!

Uncle JoJo misses his little family already! I clicked this one of him talking to you, Kayla!

Here's Picky with the kids. I honestly don't think Mac is capable of smiling correctly and here's Lilah in her "same pose, different clothes"!! Actually, the second pic of her is kinda cute...or at least I think so!

After many tears on my part and many rolling eyes on Tim's part, we FINALLY got our yard cut and trimmed up nicely. Tim has no time or energy for yard work (that, sprinkled with a tiny bit of pure laziness) so we had to hire someone to do it. I felt a little guilty...I'm not so sure Tim did, though. At least it's done and I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. I should have taken a "before" picture but didn't. Here's the "after" though. I WILL post before/after pics of the pool for sure if and when it gets done!!!!

Finally, here's a video of Picky making Lilah laugh!!! Unfortunately the card was too full so it's a short video clip, real short but at least it gives Grandma a glimpse of Lilah.

Weekly Update

I sure am running out of creative titles, huh?

McGwire's spring break is this week and we are just hanging around here. How's that for fun? He's getting to do some fun things like hanging out with his friends, swimming, skating and jumping at the "Jump Zone". My new work schedule messed us up as far as going out of town anywhere but hopefully we will have a chance to really have fun this summer. I changed my schedule from every weekend to every other weekend so every 2 weeks I will have 5 days off in a row. Did that make any sense at all? Anywho...whatever.

General Conference was this past weekend and we watched it in the comfort of our upstairs loft, so I don't have any pictures of the kids in their church clothes. Here are a few pix I took so far this week.

Tim and Kelly update:

10 Years of marital bliss

Our 10 year wedding aniversary was Tuesday. Of course I had to work so it went by with a fizzle. This was our "Hawaii" year but little Lilah came along and quickly took that dream away. I am thankful that she did, though. Here are the beautiful flowers Tim bought me.

McGwire update:

Still sleeping with "blankie"

Here's McG's favorite blanket that I made when he was about 3 years old. It has been through 6 1/2 years of "H..E..double toothpicks" and it's just about hanging by a thread. He absolutely refuses to give it up. I asked him if Grandma made him a soft quilt, would he finally give up his "blankie" and he said "only if she makes it the same color and material". Good luck with that, Grandma!!

This first pic is of "blankie''s "good side".

This next pic is of "blankie's" "not-so-good" side. You can't really tell in this pic, but the white part is the filler. The fabric is completely torn away!?!?!

Lilah update:

first tooth, waving hi, finding our noses, loving food

Lilah is growing up so fast. I hate that her pictures are taken in the same place every time. We have a daily routine and it's quite boring. The only other places that we go are the store, church and hockey...THAT'S IT!!! Oh, and out to eat, of course. I always forget the camera when we do something other than sit at home, so I will try to do better. In the meantime here are the same poses in the same places. At least she's wearing different clothes. She's like a paper doll.

Mac took this picture. I think he did a good job.

New trick!

My Mom has been singing this song to Lilah for a while now and Tim and I sing it too until here lately when she seems to have become disinterested in it.....until now! Yesterday when I sang it to her she started sticking out her tongue during the song with me. :side note: I guess I should say that when you sing the "gank gunk" part of the song, you stick out your tongue. P.S. Check out the size of her tongue!!! That very well may be some type of a deformity. It's like a cow tongue!!
