Poor Lilah got beat up in church nursery Sunday. She got hit in the face with a toy and even got a bloody nose out of the deal. It's not safe anywhere anymore! haha

We finally got out of the house and went to the park the other day. It was HOT but the kids seemed to have fun.

Presents from Grandma!

It's always fun to get a package from Grandma and this weeks package did not disappoint.

and even Brannon got a shirt. Unfortunately for Brannon, McGwire opened HIS package and claimed the shirt for himself. Sorry, Brannon!!!

Eau de toilette

The downstairs bathroom door HAS GOT to stay closed!!!!

That is rule #1 around this house.

The other day, rule #1 was broken.

Lilah seized her chance to play in the toilet and "fix" her hair.

Ewwwww!!! Stinky!!!!!!

Please...let's try our hardest to obey rule #1 from now on.

Way overdue Sunday post

My poor camera. I dropped him in the pool and he came back to life... as a monster. Like Frankenstein. This is the last time I will use him. I am going to get my old camera back from McG and give him "Frankenstein" instead. He'll never know the difference. It breaks my hearth,though.

Anywho, these pictures were taken 2 Sundays ago. McGwire was nowhere near ready for church so I just had to take Lilah's picture alone. She HATES the camera still and that is one of the reasons I have been a slacker lately with my blogging. There are no willing subjects anymore!!!

I bought this dress at a consignment sale several months ago for little to nothing. It was BEGGING for a monogram and I was more than willing to oblige.☺
She has been a Holy Terror at church lately. I mean REALLY bad. Tim had to stay with her in nursery this past Sunday and she has never had a problem going before. I am thinking that it had something to do with the nursery leader not having the snacks set up when Lilah got in there. Most kids go for the toys but Lilah goes for the food!!!

A Brannon Post

We are enjoying Brannon living with us. Lilah still says "NO!" every single time he talks to her or looks at her, but I'm sure she'll come around in time! haha

Tim helped him get his very first job ever and although he absolutely hates the job, I'm sure he'll like it a little better when that first paycheck comes.

Here he is getting ready to leave for the interview.

He was asked to cut his hair for the job and this was as short as Brannon was gonna get!!

This particular job only lasts a few weeks so they didn't enforce the hair issue but he has to wear it under a hat until the job ends.

First day of his official first job!

I am in a major blogging funk right now. Absolutely nothing is going on. Our summer is boring, our pool is green and I am recovering from surgery. I never thought I would long for hockey season to start.

Random catching up post.

My nephew Brannon came to live with us and one of the first things he did was learn how to make sushi. He did a great job...it was delish!!

Kyle, my other nephew, stayed a week or so at pics/gramps until he left to go live with his dad in Germany. He got to see Brannon for a while before he had to leave.

Lilah got a new pair of glasses.

That pretty much sums it up.

Except that Brannon and Kyle got a new little baby brother.

That is definately the most exciting news of the summer!

Lilah's first swim of the season.

Tim, Mcg and Brannon have gone swimming few times but I refused since the water is still cloudy. Lilah has been pointing and grunting towards the pool recently so I am taking that as she wants to go swimming. Sooooo I let Tim get her in and she had a great time!

If you notice, there is a small circular discoloration on the pictures. That is the only thing that is wrong with the cameraafter I dropped it in the water. I don't think it can be fixed, but it will have to do until I can get a new one.
