Sunday pics

We had stake congerence today and, bless our hearts, we decided to go as a family. I was actually entertaining the thought of me and Tim drawing straws to see which one of us would stay home with Lula Belle but instead, we decided to "go forth with faith". We sat in between 2 families with children her age so she was entertained....for a while! She lasted about an hour an 15mins before I took her to the car. Actually, we got there about 30 mins early so she actually lasted an hour and 45mins.
Wow!!! Miracles really do still happen!

McGwire did well too. He drew pictures and snacked on Lilah's snacks. Just don't ask him about what the talks were about! Actually, don't ask me what the talks were about either. I was wrestling a 2 year old the whole time.

I Got Nothin'

Tim's computer has been acting up for a couple of days, so I can't get any new pictures to post, so I'll throw up a quick post about what Lulu loves.
She loves her babies...

...and she loves her wipes!!!

The End!

Here he is getting ready for church!!! yeah, right!

Say "CHEEEEESE"

Hey, Lilah...smile if you're gonna be good at church today!!

BTW, she was a holy terror during Sacrament meeting. She lasted through the bread and water but not much longer after that!!

Dinner with an Osmond

....or with an Osmonds son's wife. But still!!!!!

Tims "adopted" sister married the oldest Osmond's son. She and her husband own a furniture and design store in Utah and she came to Atlanta on a purchasing trip last week and so we met up at a sushi bar for dinner.

I was a nervous wreck because she has to be one of the most gorgeous girls I have ever seen and one of the most wealthy and I don't do good around gorgeous AND wealthy! Give me gorgeous OR wealthy but I can't handle both!! hahahaha

But she ended up being so nice and down to earth and gave me tons of inside "Osmond" scoop, which was really cool.
We took our camera but didn't get any pictures of her (sorry Bev) but we did get a few of us before we left the house.

The happy couple:

Me showing Brannon how to take a picture that doesn't show your double chin:

This picture cracks me up. He totally made this face and made me take the picture!

This is such a good picture of Brannon. He should frame it!

Sorry that I wasn't able to include an Osmond in this picture display, but she'll be back next year and I'll be sure to get a shot of her then. Maybe she'll gain some weight and have a really bad hair day the next time we see her. One can only hope! haha

Okay enough of throwing Tim under the bus already!!!....It's not like I'm not doing anything! Coaching 2 hockey teams, being the commissioner of the league, serving as a cub master, serving in the elders quorum, working, running on 4 hours of sleep each night and dealing with Brannon's crap!
Here's the @#$%@!! CLOCK!

Break a leg

Don't be jealous, but we've had a beautiful orange ladder in our living room for about 2 weeks now. I had Tim move some pictures around to make room for my beautiful new clock that he got me for christmas.

Lilah loves it and hopes daddy never gets around to hanging the clock so that she can have her ladder to play on forever!!

Everyone knows, you can't climb a ladder if you don't have your purse!

Uh Oh!!!!

Isn't that seven years bad luck???

I'll post a picture of my beautiful clock as soon as it gets hung on the wall!!

Don't bother checking back often!

Food Storage Shelves are a Girl's Best Friend??

Most woman get diamonds, pearls or other jewels, furs and expensive french perfume and such for christmas. Me?? I get food storage shelves!?!

I am joking of course. Tim showered me with all sorts of lovely things for christmas and as far as the shelf goes...it was exactly what I needed. I just like to joke about it.

We put it in our hall closet under the stairs so I can't get a real good picture of what it looks like but it's really cool. It holds up to six hundred cans but what's really crazy is that we really need another one or two more to hold all of our food storage.

Maybe next year...I can only hope!! haha

Now, let me show off my neat little storage jars. I have those stupid shelves in my kitchen that I could never really come up with an idea for so, recently,I thought of putting big storage jars on each shelf. I got the jars at w*almart and got my vinyl lady to whip me up some nifty labels. I am still not 100% satisfied with the lay out of everything but I love the jars. I actually have 4 (you can't see the top shelf)~ one for cocoa, oatmeal, grits and snacks.

Here's a close up! So cute!

It still bugs me to look at the shelves. Something is missing and I can't figure it out.
Kayla, you need to get your butt down here and help me with some decoratin'!!!

Sunday Pictures

As you can tell by this picture, Lilah was VERY SICK yesterday with diarrhea and was not able to attend church. Tim ever so kindly volunteered to stay home with her since he was sick to his stomach as well.

You'll have to settle for me and McG's picture for the day!

Lilah was so upset when we went to leave. She ran in my room and grabbed her dress and started crying. She's soooo religious!

more snow pics and videos

Here's a few more pictures that Tim took of the kids yesterday afternoon. McGwire was STILL out playing hockey but Tim talked him into pushing Lilah on the toboggan for a little while. She had a blast and McG was such a good sport!

They cancelled school for this?!?!?!

Tim and McGwire fearlessly plowed their way through the storm of the century last night to watch the Thrashers play. Luckily, they made it there and back in one piece.
I have to admit...it makes for a beautiful picture!

McG was lucky enough to have a whimpy school board who closed down the schools for 1/8" of snow!!! He was up bright and early ready to play! I snapped a couple of pictures of snow without footprints before he went outside.

Lilah is not so sure about this white stuff.

Apparently there was a cat in the yard at some point this AM.

I was getting dressed and about to start breakfast when I suddenly realized that Lilah was nowhere in sight. I panicked a little and then figured out that she must be outside with McG.
I was right.

Poor thing was in her pajamas, clinging on for dear life to her blankie!

Here's a neat picture of McG throwing a snowball at me.

He's loving that school was cancelled. Me??? Not so much!

Making an snow angel!

The finished snow angel.

He was out playing hockey for about 2 hours straight refusing to come in and warm up. He was having a blast all by himself!

Lilah wanted to play too.

Here she is in the Alabama hoodie in honor of their championship game last night!!
Roll Tide!!!!!

I finally got McGwire to come in about an hour ago. I had drawn him a really warm bath so he could just step out of his wet, icy clothes and get right into a warm cozy bath. His skin was all red and blotchy from the cold.
Crazy boy!
He's already asking to go back out!
