Let's Go Russia!

I NEVER thought those words would come out of my mouth! Well another season is about to start and McGwire is now officially playing for Team Russia. Sweet old school look huh?
I made up an Olympic theme this season up at the rink, with 6 nations available. McGwire is Team Russia in the 12U league and Team Sweden in the 10U league that I coach. Our Team Sweden will give us material for many blogs this season as all the parents alrerady have parents team shirts, 2 large sweden flags, everone has smaller team sweden flags and all the parents have yellow and blue cow bells! Looks like we're in for a crazy season.

Sunday Pictures

I am way excited about Sunday pictures today because for the first time in Sunday picture history, we are all in the picture together (thank you Brannon)!

McG is not amused about picture time.

McG fixed his tie but something went terribly wrong!

Poor Lilah fell and hurt her face a couple of days ago.

We tried to get Brannon in the Sunday picture groove but he wasn't having it...at first.

Let's go Thrashers!!!

McGwire and Tim went to the Thrashers game this week and brought home a bunch of loot. McG was even featured on the jumbotron waving his flag and acting all kinds of a fool!!! He said at first he didn't recognize himself and thought that it was someone else copying him! Silly 'ol boy!!

He scored a Flag, a towel and even an official game puck that flew over the glass.

I had to situate the kids just right so as to hide my fat. I see in this picture that I missed a spot!!
