7 months old already?!?!?!

My little girl is 7 months old today! Is that not the craziest thing? I swear, the pregnancy drug on and on and on....and on but her little life is flashing before my eyes! I can't take it.
I am ...THE...WORST...PHOTOGRAPHER...EVER...but here are our Sunday pictures. I can't wait to get our pics done by Jade Photography (shameless plug)!

Pinewood Derby

The pine wood derby was today. Mac was in trouble so he didn't make a car this year but that didn't stop him from actually racing. A guy from our ward had a few extra cars there and he gave one to McGwire to race. So why do we even try to punish him?? Who knows!!

Here's Lilah before she knew she was gonna have a good time too! I had several babysitters there to help out (thank goodness)! In fact, I don't think I held her the whole time. I was in charge of snacks so I had my hands full as it was!! .... Ok...so by "I was in charge of snacks" I mean I put muffins on a plate and poured juice and milk for people. I'm just saying.....

The pre Easter bath!!!!

McGwire started sleeping in his closet sometime last week. Should I be worried?? He asked me if I could keep a secret, and I lied and said "yes". Then he told me that he'd been sleeping in his closet. When I asked why, he just said "because I want to". Does anyone have any idea how much money therapy will set us back??

Here's the loot the night before. BTW, we didn't say anything this year about the"easter bunny" and so I thought McG forgot that he was gonna get a basket. I put them down in the kitchen instead of outside of his bedroom door. Apparently he woke up looking for it and when he didn't find it he came in our room to see what the heck was going on!! Today while Tim was at his meetings, Mac and I had "the talk" about the easter bunny and today is the sad/happy day that he realized that me and daddy were the easter bunny. We didn't discuss the fat jolly guy yet. Mac with his loot! Nevermind how messy the living room is. I had to work last night. Enough said!!!

Birthday Boy

Tim's 36th birthday is tomorrow (sunday). We started celebrating friday afternoon by going out to lunch. Tim then went to the hockey game that night with McGwire and all of the cub scouts. Today we let him open presents and eat cake and ice cream and then tomorrow is Easter, of course. It sounds like a nice birthday weekend but I am sure all he really wanted to do is lay around and rest. Poor guy is going going going all of the time. He needs a break!

Just in case....

The reason for today's pics is that we don't know how much longer Tim's computer can hold on. It is literally about to give up the ghost, buy the farm, kick the bucket, meet it's maker, bite the dust, push up daisy's, go belly up, cash out (you get the picture)!!!It's is making some awful noise in the last couple of days. It sounds like there's a semi in my house. It is literally driving me nuts! I just want to kill something, or someone!!! But I digress....

We can't use my work computer to post anything so I thought I'd throw a couple of pics up just in case we can't post any Easter pics.

Ok! Now I need to get away from this computer before I gouge my eyeballs out!

Here's hoping the computer can hold on a little longer!!

Run Forrest, Run!!!

Lilah absolutely loves her little exersaucer (which isn't really an exersaucer but I don't know what else to call it) that Santa brought her! ;) She has been using it ever since she got it and has slowly been getting more mobile in it but in the last few days we have been seeing her going faster and faster. It's really quite fun to watch. Yesterday McG must have slipped her some chocolate or something because she ran (and I literally mean "ran") around that thing for nearly 10 mins straight. I wish I had the camera then but couldn't find it!!!

I don't think anyone else sees this blog other than family and Jill (who's just about family...awwww) but just in case anyone else comes across this blog and thinks that I am obsessed with my kids.....I am !! No, I'm not. This blog is for grandparents who live far away and are thrilled to see pics of the kids. You guys are thrilled, right??

Here is my precious son on his way to school this AM. It's spring picture day at school and if they think I'm gonna pay $30 for pictures of McGwire, they're out of their minds!

In other Hockey news, McGwire is on the DL list!

McGwire and his friend were playing hockey in the garage (where most hockey accidents take place of course) and his friend hit a puck that mcG blocked quite nicely....with his CHIN!!!! He wasn't wearing his helmet /face guard even though we were just talking about how hockey players have no teeth because of the same type of injuries (just ask Uncle JoJo). Hopefully lesson was learned. It looks horrible today but don't look too bad in the picture.

He'll stick to playing inside the house where it's safe!?!?!

I wanted to document what I saw every morning when I got Lilah out of bed but she refuses to smile for the camera...at all cost! She has the biggest grin when I go get her out of bed (well, out of "port-a-crib" since she is still in out room) but this is what was captured on film.

Speaking of not being able to get kids to smile.....On to McGwire!!! He knows how to smile but refuses to smile like a normal human being. We don't have any pictures of him that don't look like he's about to be taken away to the mental hospital!!

We are going to be getting Lilah's 6 month old pictures taken soon and will get Mac in on a few of those as well, so maybe we'll be able to get some good shots then!!!
